October 29, 2005 -- Mike Trapp, 1988 Hall of Famer and Board Member of the
SHOF, compacts the building site. Mike is president of Trapp Bros. Inc of Woodruff, WI. Trapp Bros. have made sizable contributions to the building project, tree removal and road construction over the last years.

October 29, 2005 -- Site is ready for concrete contractor. The 5,000 square foot building is phase one of the 3 phase expansion of the Hall of Fame at the St. Germain campus. Future phases include the Great Exhibit Hall, Sled Cafe and Sled World Motel, all themed around the snowmobile experience. |

Mason, Bill Cleveland lays one row of block. Next will be the wood frame walls. The main section of the museum has 11 ft. ceilings height. Heat in the floor should make for a cozy Northwoods museum (especially for the volunteers that have to be there for long periods)

Panelized walls arrive, Thursday, December 8, 2005. They were built in Wausau, WI. by Riverstone Building Systems. |

Roof trusses arrive Friday, December 9, 2005. Should look like a building before Christmas.
