Many of the Who’s Who in professional snowmobiling racing will be at the Ride with Mike Trapp on February 12th.

We expect at least 10 racing legends (5 of which are prior world champions) to show their support of Mike Trapp.  Some of these racing greats are Donahue, Hayes, Karpick, Hulings, Loritz – but wait; there’s more!

We will also have another 10 professional guides who will personally lead the individual groups on the Ride.  Four of these guides are also former professional ice oval racers, including Bettin, Lehman, Ryan Trapp, and… you got it, but wait, there are more!

We will breakdown into 10 subgroups of 10 for the ride.  Each subgroup will have a professional guide plus a celebrity (if they choose to ride) in your group.  At their own pace, the ten groups ride through many beautiful Northwoods trails and the Derby track where Mike’s career all took off.

Our route has already been mapped out, including a couple of optional loops, which the guides may choose depending on their group.  Our ride itinerary will have us all start and finish at the Snowmobile Hall of Fame.  And we’ll all meet up halfway in between while on the trail at the Trapp race shop for a special bonfire barbeque lunch.

Furthermore, the Ride with Mike Trapp will overlap with the Ride with Champs the next day.  Many of those who will be on the Ride with Champs, including this year’s hall of fame inductees, will be at the Snowmobile Hall of Fame when our ride returns.

This overlap of ride events will allow you to rub elbows with even more racing greats.  Plus, you may want to join in on the Friday Night Fish Fry, where we will have a nice casual and fun program for Mike and the drawing of the 50 / 50 raffle.  The Fish Fry is optional, it is a small additional charge, which we would encourage you to register in advance if you plan to attend.

Important:  We ask everyone to conduct themselves in compliance with the then in effect Covid 19 guidelines.  We have included a complimentary face mask in your souvenir goodie bag.  Your participation at the events is entirely at your own discretion and completely at your own risk.

If you haven’t registered already, we strongly encourage you to register now while seats still remain.  It is first-come, first-serve, and we already know we have enough people to fill the remaining seats if they were all to register today.  You will not want to miss out on this special commemorative Ride with Mike Trapp.
