St. Germain, Wis. (September 5, 2025) – The Snowmobile Hall of Fame (SHOF) and Museum in St. Germain, Wis., proudly announces Marcel Imbeault, Greg Marier, Gary Moyle and Terry Wahl as the 2026 class of inductees.

These honorees will be inducted into the SHOF during a two-day celebration, February 20-21, 2026, in St. Germain.

Voted into the Hall of Fame by their peers in the snowmobile racing community, the 2026 class of inductees represents various aspects of the sport – from World Championship winning racers to people whose devotion and perseverance behind the scenes were instrumental to success on and off the racetrack.

These men will be recognized and celebrated during the 42nd annual Ride With The Champs weekend that culminates with a formal induction ceremony the evening of February 21, 2026. Subsequently, their likenesses will forever decorate the walls at the SHOF Museum next to previously inducted legends.

The 2026 inductees are:

Marcel Imbeault (Support)

Throughout his 34-year career at Ski-Doo/BRP, mostly in engine development, dyno work and racing, Marcel Imbeault’s extreme passion, dedication and moxie resulted in winning results across a broad spectrum of the sport.

During early days serving as the race engine dyno operator and structuring field operations and racer selection, he proved himself as a force. Then, from 1994 through 2013, he served as the BRP race manager overseeing the race vehicles.

From developing factory Mod and Sno Pro kits for oval racing to successful enduro, snocross and drag racing engine packages and beyond, Marcel helped steer Ski-Doo’s winning race efforts while also proving he cared for the racers and teams with whom he worked.

Greg Marier (Support)

Minnesota-native Greg Marier combined his love of snowmobiling and an engineering degree to initiate a 40-year career in the snowmobile industry.

Greg started in snowmobile testing at Polaris (1974) and Scorpion (1978). Greg established test procedures that assessed progress from prototype through production and assisted the Midnight Blue Express and Scorpion Squadron racing teams on data acquisition and clutch calibration.

Greg joined Yamaha in 1980 and held major roles in snowmobile R&D, product planning, marketing and racing. As the factory race team manager, he led Yamaha to multiple two- and four-stroke wins in snocross (including the first four-stroke win on the ISOC race circuit), cross-country, enduro (including three consecutive Soo I-500 victories) and oval racing.

Gary Moyle (Racer)

Gary Moyle and his brothers splashed onto the snowmobile scene starting in the Juniors classes in 1996, working out of a shop in Lake Linden in Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula.

But Gary’s successful efforts in particular expanded far beyond that. During a racing career that lasted until 2015, Gary earned two World Championships at Eagle River, TLR Cup and Woody’s Triple Crown season titles, three Canadian Power Toboggan victories and much more.

Whether he was aboard Arctic Cat, Polaris or Ski-Doo sleds, or in the Champ 440, Pro Open 600 or Formula I classes, Gary was a potent force who showed up with powerful equipment that he drove with exacting precision.

Terry Wahl (Racer)

Being born into a legendary family, Terry Wahl of Greenbush, Minnesota, seemed destined to race snowmobiles on iced ovals. But he not only competed, he dominated.

His highly successful racing career ran from 1991 to 2005 and included a record seven Canadian Power Toboggan Championships, six Grand Prix de Valcourt titles, an Eagle River World Championship (1998), two Bonnechere Cup victories, multiple points titles and one of the most coveted awards in ice oval history with the $50,000 Boswell Supersled title in 1996.

Terry retired from racing at age 33 but, as one of Wahl Bros Racing lead engineers and owners, he is still very influential in the sport today.
