We want to wish everyone in our snowmobiling communities a very happy and safe Thanksgiving.

Although we are still about 3 months away, from the special Ride with Mike Trapp, we have already received a huge outpouring of support from sponsors and volunteers. Plus, we know there are many others in the process. Thank you, thank you. The more we have, all the more good we can do for the three non-profits.

As of right now, we have about 20 sponsors and 20 volunteers. Some have offered financial support; other sponsors have donated services in kind and all the volunteers who will donate their precious time. This ride will be like no other ride. We thank you.

We have major sponsors from the snowmobile industry such as Yamaha USA, the World Championship Derby Complex, and BRP Ski-Doo. We also have several area snowmobile dealers including Tomahawk Sports Center, Track Side, Donahue Super Sports, and Koch Performance.

Business colleagues, who do business with Mike, include Incredible Bank, J Bauer Trucking, McCoy’s Constr. & Forestry and so many other businesses such as Ace Hardware of Woodruff, Digital Opera, Hartzheim Painting, Lakeland Sign & Graphics, Lakeland Travel, Packerland Plus, Rolls N Rems, Sherwin Williams of Minocqua, TC Graphix, and TJ’s Butcher Block.

Even the three non-profits who will actually benefit from the ride “paid it forward” to became sponsors of the ride; the Snowmobile Hall of Fame, the International Snowmobile Hall of Fame and Explore The Trades. And again, the twenty-plus volunteers who are too many to name and all the individuals who have bought 50 / 50 raffle tickets. We have included a current list of sponsors, by sponsorship level and volunteers.

We can tell you Mike is absolutely blown away by your outpouring of support. At first, Mike felt this was a bunch of unnecessary fuss. Yet he will tell you he is extremely honored by all that has been planned at the Derby and for the Ride. He is so grateful for all of your support. With so many thanks, Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
