Snow’s on the way — and that means riding

If you’re itching for snow, two-lanes of fresh white trails and the roar of vintage snowmobiles carving through the Northwoods, get ready—because over at the Snowmobile Hall of Fame in St. Germain, Wisconsin, things are heating up for a fantastic winter.

Up here in the snowbelt, the whisper of snow in the forecast is enough to get your jaw set and your visor ready. The trails are begging, the machine’s in hibernation no more, and the promise of a long, cold, deep winter means one thing: your sled (modern or vintage) needs to hit the trail. The Hall of Fame grounds and its surrounding network of legendary Wisconsin trails are calling your name.

Mark your calendar: Feb 20–21, 2026

This year’s Ride With The Champs events, happening Friday, February 20th and Saturday, February 21st, 2026, brings together riders, legends, stories and a whole lot of snow-fueled fun.

Friday, February 20th kicks off with the John Deere Reunion Ride. It leaves at 9:00AM from the Snowmobile Hall of Fame, and comes back for the Fish Fry. You can attend the fish fry as a separate event, and it’s a great opener to the weekend, meeting up, swapping stories, prepping your machines and readying yourself for the trail ride ahead. Special guest speakers includes members of the legendary Team Enduro Deere!

Saturday, February 21st is the ride: Choose your pace, vintage or modern, large route or tighter loop, and hit the Northwoods trails with some of the sport’s best company. Then in the evening, gather for the Induction Ceremony for the 2026 class of inductees.

Honoring legends — 2026 inductees

2026 Snowmobile Hall of Fame InducteesThe 2026 induction class has been announced, and it’s a lineup of heavy-hitters: Marcel Imbeault, Greg Marier, Gary Moyle and Terry Wahl are the names to remember. These men helped shape the sport, on the ice, off the ice, behind the scenes and on the podium—and this weekend is your chance to pay respect, catch their stories and ride in their honor.

Why this weekend is special

  • Ride in the same forests and across the same trails that have hosted generations of snowmobilers.
  • Sit next to the legends, hear the stories, swap your own.
  • The combination of vintage sleds, modern sleds, club-rides, nostalgia and fresh snow creates one of the truly standout weekends for any sledder.
  • And supporting the Hall of Fame means you’re giving back to the sport and preserving history.

A big “Thank You”

Big props to the entire staff and Board of Directors at the Snowmobile Hall of Fame for putting this together year after year. These folks work tirelessly to make the Ride With The Champs weekend, the inductions, the museum displays, the historic preservation—all of it—happen and shine. Without their dedication, we wouldn’t have the memories, the trailside stories or the legends to ride beside.

Let’s ride
